In our kindergarten classroom we were studying Canadian Community Helpers.

We talked to the children about what things we need to have in a community.

They came up with houses, roads, schools, churches, fire stations, police stations,  skating rinks, parks, malls, Safeway, restaurants, airports and more.

In the classroom, together with the children,  we created a bank, grocery store, restaurant, hair salon and hospital.
