FACTS FROM CANADIAN KIDS  

In this activity, the children were asked to go home and with the help of their parents, research an interesting fact about Canada that they could share with the class. The facts were typed out, mounted on a "beaver" background, and then shared by each child. These facts became the focus of a bulletin board that was titled, "Did you know that......?" We would like to share these facts with you.

 

Did you know that Canada has twice hosted the Olympic Games? Montreal hosted the summer games in 1976 and Calgary, the winter games in 1988.
